Salah satu jenis cerita yang sering kita dengar dan baca  adalah fairytale. Fairytale adalah genre cerita yang dibawakan dalam bentuk fantasi atau tidak nyata, karakter dalam cerita tersebut hanya karangan dan biasanya lokasi cerita tersebut berada di dunia lain atau area yang tidak nyata. Contoh fairytale adalah Harry Potter, Snow white,Rapunzel ,Cinderella dsb.

Berikut ini penulis tampilkan salah satu contoh fairytale yang berjudul Cinderella

Cinderella

      Once upon a time there was a girl called Cinderella. She lived with her step mother and step sisters. They were very bossy. She had to do all the house work.

One day an invitation to the dance hall came from the kingdom to the family. Her step sisters would not let her go. Cinderella was sad. The step sisters went to the ball without her.

Fortunately, the fairy Godmother came and helped her to go to the dance hall. At the hall, Cinderella danced with the prince. The prince fell in love with her and then he married her. They lived happily ever after.
