 MATERI DAN SOAL GREETING SERTA LEAVE TAKING

    Greeting adalah ungkapan yang digunakan oleh seseorang di saat bertemu dengan seseorang.Masing-masing ungkapan mempunyai perbedaan tersendiri berdasarkan kepada waktu kejadian

   Leave taking  adalah salam perpisahan yang diungkapkan disaat kita akan pergi berpisah dengan  seseorang. Masing-masing ungkapan mempunyai perbedaan tersendiri berdasarkan kepada waktu kejadian.

    Berikut ini adalah ungkapan yang digunakan untuk greeting and leave taking:

Contoh-contoh dialog

Dialog 1:

Ardi : Hello Dika. Good afternoon. (Halo Dika. Selamat siang)

Dika : Good afternoon Ardi. Where are you going? (Selamat siang Ardi. Kamu mau kemana?)

Ardi : I’m going to the library. Would you like to accompany me? (Aku mau pergi keperpustakaan. Maukah kamu menemaniku?)

Dika : I am sorry. I have to do English task now. (Maaf aku harus mengerjakan tugas Bahasa Inggris sekarang juga)

Ardi : Oh, okay. Good bye. (Oh, baiklah. Selamat tinggal)

Dika : Good bye Ardi. (Selamat tinggal Ardi)

Dialog 2:

Santi     : Hi Kokom, good afternoon. (Hai Kokom, selamat siang)

Kokom : Good afternoon Santi, will you come to the Budi’s birthday party after school?    (Selamat pagi Santi, apakah kamu akan datang ke pesta ulang tahun Budi setelah jam sekolah?)

Santi       : Of course I will. How about you? (Tentu  aku akan. Bagaimana denganmu?)

Kokom   :  I’ll come with you. (Aku akan datang bersamamu)

Santi     : Okay then. I’ll call you when the class is over. (Baiklah, aku akan menelponmu setelah kelas berakhir)

Kokom   : Alright, See you later. (Baiklah, Sampai jumpa nanti)

Santi       : See you. (Sampai jumpa)

Dialog 3: 

In Soekarno-Hatta Air Port

Sania   :   Yayu? Is that you? (Yayu? Apakah itu kamu?)

Yayu   :  Yes I am. You was my classmate at SMPN 1 Cireunghas right? Long time no see, how are you? (Iya ini aku. Kamu teman sekolahku dulu di SMPN 1 Cireunghas kan? Lama tidak berjumpa. Apa kabarmu?)

Sania   :  I’m fine thank you. Where are you going Yayu? (Aku baik-baik saja, terimakasih. Kamu mau pergi kemana Yayu?)

Yayu    : I’m going on vacation to Lombok (Aku mau pergi liburan ke Lombok)

Sania     : Wow, that’s awesome. How  long you been there? (Wow, itu luar biasa. Berapa lama kau berada disana?)

Yayu    : Only a week . And how about you? Where are you going? (Hanya seminggu dan bagaimana denganmu? Kemana kamu akan pergi?)

Sania       : I’m going to see my mother in Papua . (Aku akan menemui Ibuku di Papua)

Yayu     : Please send my best regards to your mother. (Tolong sampaikan salamku untuk Ibumu)

Sania     : Sure. (Tentu saja)

Yayu    : I think it is a call for  my departure. I will get in first and please keep in touch. (Sepertinya itu panggalan untuk keberangkatanku. Aku akan masuk duluan ya, dan tolong untuk tetap terhubung)

Sania     : Of course Yayu, please take care. (Tentu saja Yayu, hati hati ya)

Yayu     : Yes, you too. (Iya, kamu juga)
